AmpliVox Supports the North Suburban YMCA’s Community Strong Dinner Under the Stars

Each year, the North Suburban YMCA selects honorees who dedicate their time and effort to enhance the community through community support, inclusion, social responsibility, family and youth development, and encouragement for others to give back.

Like so many organizations over the past year, the North Suburban YMCA has had to adapt to the community's pandemic and post-pandemic needs in order to continue to serve its members.

Part of the Y's evolution is the announcement of its new fundraising efforts, Community Strong.

More than 165 friends of the North Suburban YMCA stepped up to support the Y's inaugural Community Strong "Dinner Under the Stars" fundraising event.

After days of transforming the NSYMCA's outdoor campus, the "Dinner under the Stars" guests were greeted with colorful decorations and balloon d├ęcor, hundreds of twinkling lanterns, and live music.

The fundraising event not only supports the NSYMCA's Financial Assistance Fund that allow the Y's programs to be accessible to everyone in the community, but also the well-being of the Y to fortify its future.

The night concluded with casino games, and a silent and live auction that included over 225 packages or items donated by located supporters and companies which alone brought in over 25% of the Y's fundraising goal.

AmpliVox Sound Systems supported the event by providing the Victoria Lectern solid wood lectern and the Platinum Digital Audio Travel Partner Plus portable pa system to play music, make announcements and presentations clearly to all in attendance.

AmpliVox is proud to be a longtime supporter of the North Suburban YMCA, including CEO Don Roth’s past tenure on the Y’s Board of Directors.

Dear Don,

"Thank you for your sponsorship support of North Suburban YMCA’s Community Strong Dinner Under the Stars", says Kathy Fielding, CEO at North Suburban YMCA.

"Your donation of the audio services for the evening made a positive impact on the event’s success. Thanks to you and our other supporters, we hit our goal that evening and that will certainly help us combat the effects the pandemic had on our Y the last year."

"In addition, the charitable dollars raised will also help in our efforts towards drowning prevention, programming for special abilities, chronic disease programs, financial assistance scholarships, and most importantly, fortifying the future of our Y.

Because of you, our Y will continue to grow strong and help so many in our community, giving them access to programs and services they need."
