AmpliVox Sound Systems has rolled out an upgraded model of its popular BeltBlaster mini portable PA system with new USB drive support, making the unit capable of playing recorded music and/or speech from a USB Flash drive.
The BeltBlaster is designed to be worn around the waist, to serve as a hands free PA system to extend your voice to groups of as many as 75 people, indoors or out. The unit is widely used by tour guides, teachers, instructors, trainers, and persons doing product or service demos.
S206 - BeltBlaster Waistband PA Amplifier
The BeltBlaster S206 has a built-in 5-watt amplifier and speaker, plug-in headset and lapel microphones, a 44” expandable waistband belt and carry case.
USB Support: Play music and recordings over the speaker from a USB flash drive.
It runs on 6 standard AA batteries (not included).
S207 - BeltBlaster Pro
The AmpliVox BeltBlaster Pro S207 also now includes the upgraded USB support.
Model S207 is basically the same as the S206 except it also includes a heavy duty sport pack that is sweat and weather-resistant, 6 NiMH AA rechargeable batteries, and an AC adapter/recharger.
Play music and recordings over the speaker from a USB flash drive. Just load your files off your computer and onto a USB stick and press play.
The unit features forward and backward track selector buttons.
"The BeltBlaster now has even more capability and versatility," said AmpliVox CEO Don Roth.
"A fitness instructor could add recorded music to their workout routine, or a tour guide or teacher could have a recorded presentation that they play at some point on a walking tour.
The Beltblaster is so popular for tour companies that some provide a unit for every one of their employees."
