AmpliVox's Stand for Customer Satisfaction

With the popularity of the internet and continuous flow of information, consumers are banding together and recommending products to each other while steering others away from bad companies.

The website Ripoff Report is a site that allows users to submit ripoffs to advise potential future customers to steer clear of a specific brand.

One of AmpliVox's core beliefs and goals is to ensure customer satisfaction for everyone buying an AmpliVox product.

It should be no surprise that when one searches "AmpliVox" on Ripoff Report that no results come up.

There are many AmpliVox Reviews and Testimonials blog posts available for customers to make an informed purchasing decision.

PA System at the Gun Range: AmpliVox Portable Sound Heard Over Guns Shooting!

AmpliVox Portable Sound Systems recently went on the road to the Bass Pro Shops in Gurnee, IL to test our PA systems and see if you could hear the speaker and music over the shouts of a gun range (while wearing ear protection!).

Not to our surprise, they performed perfectly.

List of Products Used at Range:

We had three AmpliVox employees shooting at the range to provide the gun noise we needed to test our Portable PA systems.  In the video please notice how well you can hear the sound, and remember that the systems are not even close to their full volume!

The firing range normally has around 106-108dB of sound
The Half-Mile Hailer has 126+dB of sound to project over the gunshots.

Modern Communication and How it Has Changed Everything

Communication channels used to be confined to hand-written notes delivered by horse that would take several days to get to one place.

It amazes me the number of ways people across the entire world can communicate instantly with coworkers, friends and family at the drop of a hat.

This is one of the reasons that the United States Postal Service is struggling (estimated debt of $12 billion and operating loss of more than 6 Billion this year) and one of the reasons why communication technologies like smart phones, laptop computers, and internet service providers

6 Fun Facts about Communication Technology:
  1. 70 = The percentage of YouTube traffic that comes from outside the US.
  2. Bluetooth®, is named after a tenth-century king of Denmark and Norway, Harald Bluetooth. Harald was known for uniting various warring tribes in Denmark and Norway, as the technology is intended to unite various other technologies.
  3. 107 trillion – The number of emails sent on the Internet in 2010.
  4. 25 billion – Number of sent tweets on Twitter in 2010
  5. 2 billion – The number of videos watched per day on YouTube.
  6.  36 billion – At the current rate, the number of photos uploaded to Facebook per year.

Amplivox Time Capsule: Vintage Sound Cruiser PA System

Amplivox Sound Systems was originally founded as Perma Power in 1952 by Norm Ackerman. He introduced the Amplivox line of Portable PA Systems in the 1960s. The company also introduced on the first residential radio-controlled garage door openers, supplying Craftsman door openers to Sears. In the late 1970s, the company added power strips, surge suppressors, power conditioners, and uninterruptable power systems (UPS) for computers.

LinkCEO Don Roth acquired Amplivox Sound Systems from Norm Ackerman in 1995. Since then he has introduced dozens of new products, industry leading warranties, superior customer service, environmental efforts, and several charities such as the Pink Podium Promise and the Speak Up For America donation programs.

A lot of the Amplivox products have been around for a long time. They are continually being re-designed to adapt to the needs of the consumers. The Sound Cruiser PA System has been around since the 1940s. Its outward physical appearance hasn't changed much over the years. We've updated all the components to accomodate the technological advancements of the 21st century and changed the base to a metal alloy.

The Sound Cruiser was ahead of its time in the 1940s and is still the best mountable battery powered pa system on the markets to date. Mount to any car, truck, or vehicle with easy to use suction cups and straps. Its able to be heard clearly up to a half mile away, the two speakers allow you to be heard in 180°s or add additional speakers to be heard in a 360° radius. It's weather resistant tapered horns make it ideal for boats, parades, Fire and Rescue, EMS & Police!
