AmpliVox Technology Helps Engage Audiences for Celebration of Cultures

When the Village of Northbrook’s Community Relations Commission invited the public for a celebration of international cultures on April 23, AmpliVox Sound Systems donated its equipment and expertise to help make the event a success.

Over 500 guests filled the large gym at the North Suburban YMCA, a space filled with food service, live performances, and conversation.

In this lively, chaotic setting, portable PA systems from AmpliVox created clear, full-coverage sound for presentations, entertainment, and announcements.

AmpliVox’s professional team designed a sound system strategy to overcome the challenges of the large, noisy space.

AmpliVox’s SW915 Digital Audio Travel Partner units was connected to an S9190 four-channel Wireless Microphone Receiver, which also supported several strategically placed wireless microphones.

The SW915 also provided a built-in CD player and other inputs for computers and smartphones, so performers could easily play their music directly through the system.

For balanced coverage, an S1297 Wireless Companion Speaker was positioned on the far side of the stage and was interfaced wirelessly with the SW915.

The combination of the SW915 and S1297 provided power sound amplification that reached all corners of the busy venue.

"We are always delighted to partner with community organizations to enhance their large-scale events," noted Don Roth, AmpliVox CEO.

"Great sound amplification improves the engagement, communication, and enjoyment of events for everyone involved.

The Northbrook Celebration of Cultures Faire was filled with music, dance, and excitement, and we were proud to help bring the community together for this very meaningful international experience."

Universal Wireless Microphone System - 2.4 GHz Digital Headset and Handheld Microphone

Wish your PA system had a wireless microphone but can't afford a new one?

Tried wireless microphones, but the mic and transmitter packs were bulky and didn't sound that good...when they worked at all?

The AmpliVox S1697 Digital Wireless Microphone system is your dream come true.

Featuring CD quality sound, easy set up and NO body pack to wear, nor wires to conceal.

The mini receiver plugs into any wired mic or line input, and picks up the sound from our mic, up to 49' away (line of sight).

The S1697 mic easily converts from a headset mic to hand held mic by simply unsnapping the pickup from the lightweight metal headband.

When you need to be "hands-free" just snap the headband back on, and you are free to gesture or hold whatever you need to demonstrate. It's feather light; so comfortable to wear.

Easy to use: plug receiver into the microphone / line in jack of any AmpliVox or other audio device with a speaker and start talking.

Get the freedom to roam beyond the distance of your old mic cable and be clearly heard by your audience, at a fraction of the cost of a new PA system.

Works with all devices that have a microphone or aux In connector including computers, boom boxes and ampifiers.

H Make your presentations more dynamic by freeing yourself from the leash of wires; make your words more clear with digital sound...add an AmpliVox S1697 Digital Mic to your PA system today, for more presentation freedom and clearer messaging tomorrow and many years to come.
