Enhance Religious Services and Education with Multimedia Furniture

Today’s religious leaders use multimedia in a variety of ways to engage with their congregations. Just as public speakers in business and education depend on computers, tablets, and smartphones to bring their presentations to life, these devices enhance services, educational programs, and community events in houses of worship.

From the sanctuary to the narthex to the fellowship hall, devices are used to display images, organize presentation materials, play music, and more. Sound systems also play a vital role in larger rooms, carrying the speaker’s voice and other audio to the far reaches of the audience. Technology makes the possibilities seemingly endless – but sometimes overwhelmingly complex.

Clergy and other presenters need tools to help them control, transport, and store their devices to deliver their messages effectively.

Multimedia presentation furniture fills that vital role. The new generation of products support a wide range of high tech devices, in a wide variety of styles that are at home in sanctuaries, classrooms, and fellowship halls.

Choosing the right multimedia furniture depends on the specific needs of the presentation and its setting.

Manufacturers like AmpliVox offer options that range from strictly utilitarian to traditionally elegant. Here are a few important factors to consider in making a choice:

Integration Options:

How well does the furniture support the types of technology you anticipate using? If multiple devices are commonly part of your presentations, think about furniture with dedicated shelves, dataports, cable reservoirs, and surge protectors to simplify connectivity. Rack mounts allow for the installation of sound equipment, preferably with capability for audio streaming. Desktop controls for sound system functions make it easy to make adjustments without juggling devices.

Security and Mobility:

Will your furniture serve as permanent storage for document cameras or other expensive equipment?

Look for designs with lockable cabinets, shelves, and cables to keep everything secure.

If the furniture and equipment will need to move from room to room, be sure to choose furniture with smooth-rolling, sturdy casters that will transport delicate electronics safely.

Style:

Multimedia furniture does not have to look like it came from the AV Club. Even the most traditional pulpits can be complemented by attractive furniture with concealed technical muscle. Maintain the integrity and dignity of your presentations by investing in multimedia furniture that fits the setting in which it will be used.

AmpliVox offers lecterns in a wide variety of materials, from traditional hardwoods to contemporary acrylics, contributing to the beauty of the room while enhancing the presentation of the service. Multimedia technology, when used skillfully, delivers presentations that are more engaging, interactive, and inspirational. Well-designed presentation furniture makes that technology easily accessible so that any speaker can use devices with confidence. Take the time to investigate the wide range of available presentation furniture options and don’t compromise style for functionality – in today’s market, the best manufacturers can provide you with both

The Big 12 Outdoor Track and Field Championship was held this past weekend, May 13-15 from TCU’s Lowdon Track & Field Complex in Fort Worth, Texas. The meet has shaped up to be one of the most competitive in the country.

Larry Able, Master Level Starter was at the event and used the AmpliVox Half Mile Hailer for the weekend's meet that was hosted by Texas Christian University.

Larry has been using AmpliVox’s versatile and reliable PA system for many years with great success.

He has just upgraded to use our rechargeable NiCad battery pack to improve the consistency of his starts, as well as eliminate the need for searching for batteries when he travels.

“A large number of starters here in Kansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri have AmpliVox Half-Mile Hailer Kits for their track meets.

I'm using a deluxe quad horn kit now and my older systems are still in use by other starters.

All of us believe in the quality of the product and, as I've seen first-hand, the quality of your customer service.”

AmpliVox Supports the Yellowstone National Park to Protect, Promote, and Enhance Its Natural and Cultural Resources

Dear Don:

I write to acknowledge and thank you for your generous contribution of an AmpliVox Mity-Meg Megaphone and BeltBlaster Pro Sound System to the Yellowstone Park Foundation’s 3rd Annual Old Faithful Open Golf Scramble.

Your generous gift ensures Yellowstone National Park will continue to receive funding for both priority needs and long-term objectives that protect, promote, and enhance Yellowstone’s natural and cultural resources.

As the long days and nights of winter melt away, new life begins to spring up in Yellowstone. The cheerful chorus of songbirds is returning across the landscape, while flowers of all varieties paint the Park’s hillsides and valleys and knobby-legged bison calves trail by their mother’s side.

As the resurgence of Park life begins, Park rangers prepare for the influx of visitors arriving during the busy spring and summer seasons.

Rangers are already gearing up for managing bear jams and educating visitors on bear safety having sighted the first grizzly of 2016 in late February.

Thanks to YPF funding through the Wildlife and Visitor Safety Program, these rangers will have the resources and training needed to safely supervise the numerous wildlife jams.

Interpretive rangers will soon begin leading guided walks and campfire talks for visitors, as well as encouraging youth to actively learn about Yellowstone through YPF funded youth education programs such as Junior Ranger, Youth Scientist and Wildlife Olympics.

Another significant program resuming this spring is construction around the Roosevelt Arch to correct the traffic and safety issues caused by modern transportation and increased visitation. Restoring the area around this National Historic Landmark will enhance this iconic entrance by providing a safer experience for the millions of visitors that stop to marvel at its grandeur.

Thank you, again, for assisting the world’s first national park in maintaining a margin of excellence that visitors have come to expect. We hope your travels take you to Yellowstone this year and look forward to showing you the impacts of your support.

Best Regards,

Karen Bates Kress
President
