On behalf of everyone at AmpliVox Sound Systems, we would like to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! We value our relationship with you and thank you for being our customer.

We’ve enjoyed an exciting and successful 2015, which would not have been possible without the support we have received from our dealers, suppliers, customers and friends.

As a special holiday treat, we’ve included a photo of AmpliVox CEO Don Roth’s festive holiday home.

We look forward to serving you in 2016!

Merry Christmas!

AmpliVox Donation Raises Awareness and Support for Children of Fallen Heroes

AmpliVox Sound Systems will send its top-quality sound equipment across the country with a unique project that supports the children of fallen military, fire department, and law enforcement personnel.

The “Double Dog” Jeep Project, created by the non-profit America’s Children of Fallen Heroes, will send a one-of-a-kind customized Jeep to auto shows and special events across the US to collect expressions of appreciation and raise awareness of the challenges faced by survivor families.

AmpliVox will proudly donate its SW312 Wireless Sound Cruiser to equip the Double Dog Jeep with sound broadcast capability wherever it goes.

America’s Children of Fallen Heroes focuses on the needs of children who have lost a parent in public service.

Formed in October 2000 as Children of Fallen Soldiers, the organization expanded its name and mission to serve children of firefighters and law enforcement officers as well as military families.

Support efforts include the Dream Development Project, a 10-year commitment to these young people to empower them to clarify, build, live, and create a legacy from their dreams. The organization also collects written and videotaped Expressions of Appreciation from eventgoers, short messages of encouragement and thanks for the sacrifice made by their loved ones. These statements will be published in a book entitled On Behalf of a Grateful Nation, and will be included in a formal memorial.

The Double Dog Jeep Project will take to the road in 2016 with a schedule that will reach over a quarter million event participants. Outfitted with inspiring patriotic graphics, the Double Dog Jeep will have a roof-mounted SW312 Sound Cruiser system donated by AmpliVox.

The Sound Cruiser’s 50-watt amplifier and dual horn speakers can cover venues the size of a football field and audiences of up to 3000 people. The system includes a 16-channel UHF receiver, wireless headset and lapel microphones, and a body pack transmitter. The unit is powered via an included DC car adapter.

“The Double Dog Project takes its name from the leap of faith it takes to face challenges head-on; we “double dog dare” our youth to allow their adversities to forge the greatness that lies within them,” explains Chaplain Timothy “TIG” Heaslet II, CGSE, of America’s Children of Fallen Heroes.

“We are extremely grateful to AmpliVox and our other sponsors for helping us spread our message in this exciting project.”

“AmpliVox is honored to support the Children of Fallen Heroes through the Double Dog Jeep Project,” noted Don Roth, AmpliVox CEO.

“The families of our military and first responders deserve all our respect and gratitude. Our Sound Cruiser system will help this worthwhile organization raise awareness in a very effective and meaningful way.”

AmpliVox Introduces its First Waterproof Made in USA Megaphone

For powerful sound coverage that stands up to water, dust, heat, and cold, AmpliVox Sound Systems proudly introduces the new Made in the USA Pro Marine Megaphone, model WP609R.

This unique megaphone, the only product of its kind made in America, can go anywhere on land or water with its rechargeable battery pack and state-of-the-art design that makes it completely waterproof and dustproof.

Its rugged, military-tough construction provides reliable communication for industrial, fire and rescue, law enforcement, public safety, military, boating, water sports, and outdoor recreation settings, as well as any disaster or emergency situations.

The Pro Marine Megaphone is constructed of high-impact polycarbonate material, engineered to meet IP67 (Ingress Protection Standard) for dust and water submersion.

The unit is so watertight that it will float if dropped in the water, but can still operate perfectly even when submerged for up to 30 minutes (as shown in AmpliVox’s demonstration video).

To protect against cracks and damage, the Pro Marine Megaphone includes shock-absorbing rubber cushions on the front edge and back as well as wrap-around handles.

It is drop-tested to exceed MIL STD 810F 516.5 specifications for shock. It is the first and only American-made megaphone to meet these heightened standards.

In addition to its outstanding durability, the Pro Marine Megaphone provides the high-quality sound features that are the hallmark of AmpliVox megaphone products.

Its rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides up to eight hours of use, and an integrated charge indicator light lets users know when the battery is running low.

It delivers clear and powerful sound from its Class D Digital Amplifier, with built-in horn and siren functions. The lightweight unit carries easily with its padded shoulder strap.

"The extreme durability of the Pro Marine makes it one of the most versatile megaphones available," notes Don Roth, AmpliVox CEO.

"It can go anywhere and be used under the most extreme conditions. We’re proud to produce this ultra-reliable megaphone here in the United States, and we’re confident that it will be an indispensable tool for first responders, athletic and aquatic facilities, and many other customers that require rugged, dependable sound equipment."
